We have the commie laws here in Maryland too, but they went one step further.
Since '95, you cant put any engine in your vehicle unless it had that engine
option from the dealer. Plus the engine would have to be the same year or
newer. The only way around this is if your vehicle is 20 years old or if you
can prove you did the swap before '95. I dont see that many S-10s with 350's
anymore (like I really care though).
