Righto. And......the crate motor front cover is different to allow
for the mechanical fuel pump mount and that front cover won't allow you to
use the serpentine setup. Also the cam is longer cuz it's got a fuel pump
eccentric. You can swap the efi front cover on but it'd require a cam swap
to to clear it. No point now, eh?
That motor would require somewhere on the order of 28-30# injectors and a
full DFI setup or custom EEPROM burn. Since it comes with a distributor
and spark box the only way the crate motor would make sense is to go carb
as Bruce suggests.
