Hey , don't laff at those K-Cars . My parents bought a brand new 1981 Dodge
Aries K and drove that ugly Yellow thing for 200K miles ! It was a stripped
5-speed with no air or radio . In about March of '81 I remember my mom had
an 8-Track installed . SHEESH !
We beat that car to death . I remember the tranny somehow lost all of it's
fluid at about 80K and siezed up . Luckily , the dealer replaced it even
though it was way out of warranty .
