This is normal operation. Like I said, if the engine is dead cold, let it
idle for a few minutes before you drive it (like you should in the winter
time). Even after setting for 20 min or so (shut off), it will still roar but
not as long. Just go easy on the throttle until it cuts out. If you want,
you can take it off, but your water pump will suffer.
