Petersens 4 wheel & Off Road magazine installed a Mopar R/T kit on a '97
318 5/spd Ram with 4.56 gears. Before the kit, the truck was dynoed at
218 horsepower at 4300 rpm and 282 torque at 3000 rpm. After the R/T kit
installation (cam, headers, computer, air filter, cat-back) it dynoed at
265 horsepower at 5000 rpm (about 250 at 4100 rpm) and 320 torque at
4000 rpm (310 at 3250).
They also include the part numbers of all the pieces if anyone is
interested. I hope to have the headers, cam, and chip when they are all
available at the same time.
