nope, they aren't coated, which kinda' sucks. I didn't realize their
"rust-out potential" untill after I put em' on. I painted them with some
1200 degree high temp paint, but it's burned off. I did notice a big
differrence. The truck just seems to get stronger and stronger as the
system adjusts to the higher flow rate of the headers. Edelbrock claims a
full second off your 0-60 with the headers on an 87 V6. I like em'. More
power all the way around! Worth the money if you ask me. I can definitely
notice a difference in Gas mileage too. I got 25.6 last tank from
Winchester to Yorktown (210 miles) at 75... Pretty damn good from the 17
I was getting when the truck was still unmodified. I'm lovin' these
headers! =)
