Thanks for clearing that up; you really had me wondering how the engine
lasted that long without a change.

What's up with these recyclers? My understanding is that mineral oil can
be recycled forever, only the additives wear out. So, they should be
happy as hell to get as much FREE oil as they possibly can. It's sure
gotta beat going out in some frigid ocean or blast furnace desert,
drilling for the stuff, transporting it to a refiner, refining it, etc.
I don't understand any limit on the acceptance of recycled oil. I usually
drive over to the nearest Liffy Jube after they've closed and leave them
the oil. The barrels are there waiting and I know they get paid for all
of the oil that they turn over to these recyclers so they don't care how
much they get or where it comes from.
