It's a ceramic coating that resembles chrome and is guarranteed for life .
It is coated inside and out of the headers

Even though the headers are stainless steel , they will turn dark from the
heat without caoting .

The coating also reduces the under-hood temps and can take temps of 1400
degrees farenheit .
