Chris,
Howdy and welcome to the DML! Its a great place for Dakota info!. I too
own a 98 R/T CC. My transmission is tight and does not slip. Slippage is a
bad thing. You defninitley need to keep tabs on it and nail the dealer for
repairs! My dealer has had problems with the smaller 4 speeds, but hasnt
had much trouble with the 46RE. Have you checked your fluid level? Im sure
the dealer must have?...
