Another good idea is to use Eagle One Wet to wax it. Its clear, comes in a
spray bottle, goes on real quick, wipes off real easy and nothing sticks to
it (ie bugs, tar and even white road paint I happened to drive through one
time. it all just wiped off during the next washing. ) They say it
contains Teflon. I don't know for sure what's in it but it makes anything
shine like crazy. Especially a black 97 Dacca Sport. Also it even works
great on windows so no worry about accidentally getting it on there either.
I put on them on propose, works way better than Rain-X and lasts alot longer
