My R/T was the same way until I took it back and complained. The dealer
found a leaking O-Ring in one of the fittings. Works better now. They also
replaced and re-torque the rear Cab bushings to fix the popping noise when I
turned right onto an incline.

I have noticed that the AC is not fully effective until it the truck has
run for a while. It is cool, but not real cold when idling around in town.
