I HAVE A '97 DAKOTA WITH 3.9L ENGINE & 22,000 MILES. THE OIL PRESSURE SEEMS TO BE DROPPING AS THE MILES INCREASE. AT HOT IDLE, THE GAUGE IS ON THE BOTTOM MARK OF THE OPERATING RANGE (WHICH APPEARS TO BE ABOUT 20#). I THINK THIS IS TOO LOW FOR HOT IDLE. AT 60 MPH, GAUGE REGISTERS A LITTLE PAST THE MID-POINT MARK OF THE OPERATING RANGE ( ABOUT 45-50#).
I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM OTHER DAKOTA OWNERS ON WHAT THEIR TRUCK OIL PRESSURE GAGE SHOWS.
