Your dak's OE cat was probably clogged, and that's why you noticed the
difference.. Auto guys will especially miss the low end from a removed cat,
manual guys may not .. you will get a gain on the top end, that's for sure.

Yeah, my Dak is a 95, with only 1 O2 sensor and its before the cat. My cat
was removed at about 25 or 30K miles, its clean as a bell, in fact I still
have it, just in case!!
