Yeah, you can drive on them - just very carefully.
Usually, if I know I'll be out 4-wheeling I carry a portable air compressor
that plugs into the lighter. Can usually get the tires up to atleast 30 psi
this way. Not as fun as the "inflation by benzene" method, but a little
bit safer!
