I am very interested in that hood , but when I found it , I too was told
that it did not have a functional air box .

That was a big turn-off for me . I bugged them for a couple of weeks about
it and finally gave up .

If they will come up with an airbox for the thing that will work with an
open element , then count me in .

It would have to be probably around December/January time frame though .
