You can clear error codes, but not reprogram things such as speedo
calibration, timing, door locks, etc. The CarComp also can store and display
real-time plots of sensors vs rpm vs road speed, etc.

And without an external scan tool of some sort, there is no known method for
retrieving codes from 98's. The ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON method only works with pre
98 models.
