Finally got around to installing my headers, it when much easier than I
expected. I started at 7:30 this morning and it is 11:45 I am in the
house finished drinking a beer and am on the digest.

I was actually finish at 10:15 but had to go buy a oil pressure sending
unit, I broke it loosening the EGR pipe going into the back of the
manifold. The only real problems were the d---n y-pipe. It's a b---h
doing it by yourself. It doesn't leak now, but may . When one of my
boys comes home from school I'll loosen it and re-do it as I'm sure
a second set of hands would make it easier.

Overall I thought that this was the easiest set of headers I've ever
done. My 340 Duster was harder, on it the left tie rod had to come off
as it went between the header pipes. On my big block Camaro the engine
had to be raised 3 inches so that the headers could slide between the
engine and body. My 66 Chevy II was a real bitch and the Impala is a
nightmare.

Anyone in the Raleigh, NC area that wants to do the headers, you can
come over to the house and I'll help you, would prefer that you come to
my place so we can use my air tools, they do make things go quicker.
Just bring your truck, headers and a six-pack.

Any difference, well don't know yet. The next time I tow with I'll let
you know the difference. My Dakota is my tow truck and the daily driver
for the wife.
