There's a guy at the local track who has an earlier ('89, I think)
Dakota with a (pre-magnum) V6. He has 200,000 on his truck which
he races almost every wednesday night. Its gone through a rearend
and a tranny (tranny was only because a bushing wore out and it
destroyed itself), but he's never had any trouble from the engine,
just the normal wear items, oil changes, etc.
It *is* showing its age though and starting to slow down, but he's
got a 340 all set to drop in if the 6 kicks the bucket. :-)
