     Hmmmm... If memory serves Jon, you also drained the engine block. I
     didn't and while it is worth a check at each gas fill, I didn't need
     to add anymore "freeze" after I put my stat in on a '98 (I didn't
     remove the block plugs). If it is constantly low after a good number
     of fill-ups you may have a leak. Robert, are you sure you have a good
     seal where the new T-stat went in?

         <<I don't know wether or not this is what's happening to you but:
     
       My FSM says that when you drain the coolant and refill it, you will
     have to top it off within a couple of days; I guess it just needs
     some time to fill all the nooks and crannies or something. Anyway,
     when I drained my system to install my 180 degree thermostat, that
     was indeed the case; I filled it up, and had to top it off a while
     later.
