Hi Chad, I'm a fellow sixer ('97 SLT+ CC 239ci 5spd stick 3.55 LSD).
I can usually lay some short streaks in first, then chirp in
second, then a strong pull from third on up. Everything stock
here, but not for long :-). Personally, I think it's because
the stock tires are slick (these Goodyear Inslicta greasy
donuts leave much to be desired). I plan on plus sizing to
some 235/70R15 meats and some Bilstein shocks as soon as
I'm happy with pricing/availability info. Candidates include the
Firestone Firehawk SS10 and the Dunlop Sport Rover GTX2.
I here Bridgstones work real well, too, so I'll be looking
at them in addition.

There are some streaks in the parking garage that have my
name written all over 'em... scares the secretaries in
the Ford Explorers shitless :-D.
