I too am waiting on an R/T. Ordered 7/20, shipped 8/28. I am still waiting.
I don't do extended warranty things. I have had great luck with the basic
3/36.
There are list members who can advise you on this though.
Fog lights shouldn't be hard to add. Lots of aftermarket kits out there.
$100 over invoice is a good deal. I got mine for $300 over. See if they will
sell you a bed cap and install it at cost ($660).
Before you take delivery of the truck, look over every square inch of it. Top
to bottom. Check out the paint, the fit of mouldings and grill. Check the
oil level, do it all. Look for small door dings.
The door entry guards from Mopar are a nice addition($20). They will save the
door
sill from scratches and scrapes.
3#m makes a nice protective tape kit for the Dak. Covers the edge of hood,
fenders, roof, grill and mirrors. It is clear, and does not discolor. Good
investment.
