Neither. Get him a '68 Ambassador with a 232 like I started with.
But seriously, it depends on what he needs it for. Going to use it like a
big truck, or a small truck? Gas mileage is worse w/ the Ram b/c of sheer
size. Ram is probably safer, but the Daks are pretty darn safe anyway.
Remember, also, Dakotas are fast, and can be made faster. If I had been in
my Dakota at 16 or 17, I can honestly say I would have killed/seriously
injured someone. (I'm 19 now, I've learned a lot about how to get away
with.....I mean, I'm a better driver now.)
