Not necessarily so. The Dakota is build every bit as 'tough' as the full
size RAM. I use mine to tow my boat and camp trailer as well haul stuff.
It can pack or tow as much as the full size 1/2 tons. Now, if you're
interested in a work horse, look at the 3/4 ton or 1 ton Rams.
It all depends upon what options you order for your truck.
