Mine went crazy too about 2 months ago. I was driving to my grandparents
house and the thing sent all over the place. When I would turn it would go
way down and then come back up a jump around some. My grandfather popped
the hood reseated some connector and it hasnt done it since. You might want
to try cleaning the connectors or whatever it has I didnt look at what he
did all I know is my oil pressure guage works normally
