At a car show last year I saw a demonstration in which an oil additive made by B&G
was put in the oil, the engine started and run 15 minutes then the oil was drained
and the engine ran at least 8 hours non stop. I watched this 2 days in a row on
the same engine. Never knocked and at the end of the day the man operating the
booth turned the engine off, waited about 1 minute and hit the starter and it
started back up perfectly. The point was if the additive offered that much
protection imagine how good it works when it is still in the engine. This
additive is one you have to put in every oil change. BTW they had used the same
engine for this display for over 3 years at many shows. FYI the engine was an
early model 318 with a 2 barrel carb.
