After emptying my tank to replace the pump, the hard way by dropping the
tank down instead of lifting the bed, I put 1/2 gal. in to make it to the
pump and put over 23 gal in mine. Must have filled every little inch and
including the pipe. But I hate running more than 250 miles, 3.9 v6 16-20mpg
depending on the driving style, city or hwy., before putting in more gas.
