Bruce -

I'll give that a big "HELL-YEAH!!!"

I agree totally .

Although , I hated those damn left-handed threads on my '66 Dart .

I replaced them a few at a time . Every time some dork would try and
tighten one down with an impact wrench , he would try and go the wrong way
. After a couple of years I had them all replaced one at a time .

I would just shake my head and laugh while I watched the guy . "These damn
lug-nuts just won't come off , sir !........rat-a-tat-tat....SnAp!"

That was one of the more funny things , and yes , it endeared me to these
cars . The oddities of Chrysler os days old (and hopefully days to come) is
what drew me to them before I could even drive .

I have never owned anything else , and I will never own anything else .

I think that if you took an informal poll , that you would find that people
that are into Mopars are more loyal to their brand than any other out there .

I mean , even a K-Car is way better than ANY Chebbie .

BTW - My parents had a 1981 Dodge Aries K . It was light yellow (ugly as
hell) and it had a vinyl interior . It had NO a/c , NO radio , a 2.2
4-banger , and a 4-speed . It was the ugliest , hottest , most
uncomfortable car with no radio that I have ever ridden in , BUT....it
lasted over 200,000 miles without skipping a beat . My mother did have a
radio put in sometime in '82 , but for some reason (maybe she was on
Heroin) she had them install a Kraco 8-Track player . I chastize my motyer
to this day for getting that damn 8-Track .

Wether you like the K-Car or not , you have to realize that it's the car
that saved Chrysler and brought it back from the brink .
