Actually the article said the towing
capacity was unchanged. I believe it was 4000lbs. Took the magazine home.

I would love to get my hands on a '99 Lightning. Unfortunately, it will
be priced >$30k, it's only available in reg cab and towing capacity is
greatly reduced. I figure if they are taking away all the utility out
of the truck then why don't I just drive my Stang to satisfy my need for
speed?
