I've put the AirAid kit on my Durango 5.9l (same kit for the Dak).
Pictures are up at
It goes on well and is truely a 5 minute job with a couple of wrenches
and a screwdriver. Couple of downsides though:
1) It retains the "accordian" hose between the TB and the kit. Don't
know what that is worth on a 5.9l, but on the 8.0l Viper motor replacing
that hose is worth 10-12HP alone
2) Its a "shorty" kit, and doesn't position the filter in the front part
of the engine bay. You can see from the pics thats its about over the
exhaust manifold.
3) Its a non-CARB part, and has "for offroad and racing use only"
stamped all over the box and instructions. Not something you want to
drop off at the dealer for installation if you plan on having any
warranty left :-)

My next venture will either be AirAid , or TransGo (fax?? bruce??) ...
I've
already got everything lined up with AirAid, and I could make the buy
whenever
... my price will probably be ~$130 for the Dakota system.
