YOUR Starter needs to be rebuilt, or replaced, i have had the same problem a
couple of times with my 87 dak. Also make sure that your exhaust is no where
near your starter, if it is make a heat shield, that will extend the life of
the starter. also, dodge starters due to the high rpm's that they spin at
while starting(Due to the reduction box) get very hot if you keep the key
turned for a long time while trying to start the truck. If you let it cool
between tries it will also extend the life of the starter
