I replace my fuel filter every 15,000 miles in my 93 Dak 4x4......every time I
hacksaw it open and every time there is a fair amount of dirt in there.....I
have dropped my gas tank before also the replace the pump and sending unit and
wow there is also alot of dirt in there, the fuel pump was loaded full of dirt
particles as well as there was a nice coat of dirt on the bottom of the tank.
I dont not to THAT much 4wheelin to justify that much dirt in my fuel system,
but somehow its in there! Oh well!
