Did you hook these up so they are on all the time the ignition is on? If
they are thermostat controlled, how did you accomplish this hook up? What is
the manufacturer and Part Number information??

Subject: DML: electric fan setup

Here's how things want for me in my fan conversion. My first attempt was
a failure due to the fact there is NO room between the grille and the
condenser. I tried a slimline 12 and the hood would not clear even with
the seal removed from the fan housing And just for the heck of it, I
even removed the bracket that holds the grille to the hood and it still
wouldn't fit. My intention was to use a 12" pusher there and a 16"
puller inside. I ended up useing a 2-12" puller setup and with a little
modification to the seal and a home made bracket (useing the top 2 stock
mounting locations) I was soon in business. Honestly though, it still
won't keep up on 100degree A/Cdays. It doesn't get over 200 though and
doesn't seem to affect performance at that temp. All in all it's worth
it because the free horsepower is definately noticeable throughout the
rpm range. Hope this will help. Alan.
