my last one screwed up so here i go again i have a 1992 dakota king
cab V-8 and the horn is broke any suggestions as to how to fix
it?

thanx david houk

------------------------------------------------------
1. Confirm it is the horn, not the wireing. Use a test lamp or voltmeter on the power terminal and have someone press the horn .... should light test lamp.
2. If light, remove horn, clean mount to ensure a good ground and try again. If no light, you have a wireing problem. You could also test the horn using the battery ... ie. place mounting bracket on ground terminal and run wire from + terminal to power connection on horn.
3. If horn doesn't work ... get a new horn ... they are much cheaper a Wally Mart than dealer.
