Yep, it can be done...
Here are some pics of some chrome Edelbrock valve covers
on Sean Meldrum's '97 318. They only have 5 bolts as opposed
to the Magnum's 10, but supposedly, if you use a good gasket &=20
some sealer, they'll work just fine. Sean reports that he=20
hasn't had any leaks yet.
