Just a side note for you guys having the fuel sending unit go bad......I own a
93 Dakota 4x4 and I have have 4 replaced........the first 3 were under
warranty and the last one I had to do myself.....so trust me on this REPLACE
THE ENTIRE FUEL PUMP MODULE!!!! Go to NAPA and buy one for $130, its a Carter,
same as factory. My sending unit went out so I pulled the tank and put a new
sending unit in only to learn that 2 weeks later my pump also went so I had to
pull the tank AGAIN. If you are doing this to your truck replace the entire
assembly!!!!! The one I bought had everything the factory one had, including
the sending unit. Good luck,
