On 97 and up Dakotas and Ram's turning the distributor will change the =
injector timing, NOT the ignition timing.
The injector timing is 0-+2 degrees from factory, but you can turn it up =
to +5 degrees. But you need the DRB III to check it.
If you drive the truck on 93 octane all the time you can turn it up to =
+8-9 degrees, but watch out for pinging.
