  The exact same thing happens to me every time I tow my trailer.
(It uses a 7-way plug). What happens is that it blows the ABS fuse
in the truck. It doesn't do it right away, but it doesn't take very
long. I've been meaning to go over the trailer with a multimeter to
see what's going on, but I suppose there could be a problem with the
truck too.

  Anyway, you might want to check your fuses. On my '96, there are
fuses in 2 locations; under the dash, and in the engine compartment.
I don't remember which location that particular fuse its at
(engine compartment, I think) but its a yellow 20? amp.

   If it is indeed just a problem with the trailer's wiring, they
may be unable to replicate the problem at the dealer. If they say
everything is OK, you might want to inspect the trailer next.
