Ben,
There is a spring clip behind the crank that needs to be pulled out, then
the handles will pull off. Just be careful and don't loose the clips.
Sometimes they will pop off and you won't see where they go.

Subject: DML: Removing Window Crank

Hey guys,
I just got my street scene mirrors in and I need to remove the door panel to
put them on...Only thing I can't get is the window crank...How do I go about
removing this? On some trucks you can just snap a cover off and then
unscrew it...I've pulled and tugged and nothing...In the instructions, it
talks as if I should have a "Window Crank Removal Tool"...If I need one of
these, where in the heck do I get one!! Thanks,
Oh yeah, I have a 97 Dak...
Ben
