Leonard,
make sure whatever you use is specifically intended to stay in a non
through-hole connector. Some de-oxidizers are acid loaded and may eat
through the tin plating on the connector eventually if they arent
de-activated. I think JET may have cleaned my connector when they looked at
it. Id give it a try if its made for the job!

Nope it has been dry here. Have not washed it for about a week and dont
recall running thru any puddles. Would you recommend a contact cleaner.
We use a product called deoxit here at work on cicuit boards and
connectors. Both times I have reseated it has seemed to be ok. If it
does it again tomorrow I am gonna take it off and run with out for a day
to see.
