I'm runnin' a 87 Dak with a 3.9L, Carb type and No roller Cam. When first starting the truck up Cold it ( Clacks and Hammers ) as if all the lifters have lost there Oil, as soon as I put the truck in gear (auto) and start down the road it Stops ?? after it warms up its hard to here the noise, but when its cold under NO Load its noisey ?? I have checked out the bottom end (Rod and Main bearings and rist pins) everything there looks good, No play in rist Pins? Has any one ran into this before?
