Bob,
Thanks a lot for the research! Looking forward to the dyno data!

Hey Bruce,

Been outta the loop lately. Just been buried with work and offline
projects. K&N was going to send me a replacement for my broken S bolt.
Don't remember seeing it in the mail yet, however. Want to get the K&N
back online. No time for dyno pulls this week. I've found another shop
to use for this next round, but with me being out of town for a few
days, it's going to be late next week before I can get in there. Neat
thing is this place goes for $50 an hour, so I'll just wrench quickly
and probably get a bunch of runs in. One with the stock TB and no JET
chip, one with the Stage I TB, and one with JET and TB, plus whatever
else I can come up with in a week.

Truck seems to have smoothed out since my last report. Haven't been
experiencing the surge between 2200-2500 as I did initially. I'm
thinking this may be JET chip related for those who hadn't seen my
earlier report. Part throttle response is better now after some drive
cycles. Mid and top end is still very strong. Haven't done any balls to
the rev limiter runs in a few days, so about time for some late night
blasts down the freeway again<g>.

Curious to see how Frank makes out with the bigger injectors. Will that
also be with the custom flash from JET?

When all is said and done I'll post up some scanned dyno sheets from 8
weeks ago and from what we do next week so all can see how things size
up. I'm expecting some major "real numbers" increase with the TB based
on the butt dyno stuff.

Bob
