This high speed vibration seems to be something exclusive to the R/T. If
that's the case, I think it is the limited slip 3.92 combined with
excessive driveshaft rpm at high speeds. I didn't even think of it as a
problem until I joined the list. I used to have a '70 CJ Torino with a
460 C6 and 3.55 9" limited slip rear end. I felt the very same
vibrations at the same speeds and up. To me, the only mod I might make
is a safety loop up front to catch the shaft should it ever break at

I desperately want to know too! My theory is that the driveshaft balance is
out. Driveline shop soon.
