I have 255-60-15's on a set of steel stock '97 Dakota wheels (*that I got
for free*),
and run them on my '95 Dakota occationally. I have no clearance problems, a
good
sized bulge on the sidewalls, but ran them for 30k with no troubles. You do
get a bit
of flex when going into a sharp turn, but once you have it happen a few
times, you
expect it.
