Actually it scratches the paint a lot, they do this to prep it. I saw
one being taken off once, talk about a mess. It was taken off because
the guy didn't like the fact that he couldn't slide heavy objects in the
bed. Oh what a mess! there was black rubber looking stuff everywhere!
