you are exactly right... fuel dragster engines ( not all) actually use dif
CR per cyl to "fix" uneaven distribution off the hi-helix rotor in their
superchargers. key to engine reciperocating assy. acceleration is balanced
EGTs... one reason why efficient injs offer superior throttle response in
the magnum engine... a point addressed in my new catalog update... (all
commercialism aside...:))

glad you asked... i was going to get into this but WAS SURE... no one would
be interested... i am convinced that a four barrel mfl or a dual deuce mld
could be made out of the stock unit. if we can run the open plenum m1 then
we know the engine does not need the long runner when it is modified for
increased cfms. the intake underneath lends itself to take out about 1/2
runner and then it would be similar to direct port. the top would have to
be modified... but if you are up to alum welding & fab work... not much dif
than sheet manifold work. twin 3.9s for the street... v8s for racing and/or
nitrous usage...
the tbi would probably be set twisted to the left 10-15-degrees for best
feed... and 1 butterfly would feed 2 holes. the bellcrank 96 up lends
itself to an easy link if done right for the twin tbi throttle blade
action... you onle need 1 ais, 1 tps and one map... set up a second
solenoid to spray gasoline mist inside the air cleaner to keep wot a/f in
12.5:1 area +/-... and operate as required once you learn the performance
characteristics...
so have fun... let us know as soon as you get it handled... remember alum
falls away around 1300-F... so watch the weld puddle... ;-)
jamn...
ps: some may want to reference something to me for a comment on... but if
buried in 3288 messages i surely will miss it if not on a thread i happen
to be following... so maybe you could copy directly to me at
jghunter@nol.net as i search it seeking the catalogs and other email direct
to me...first before scanning all the other message... i really do skan
each...
it is common for me to get back on net and see 2000 -35000 if it has been a
few weeks or so...
thanks...
