Plus , I have been doing some in depth research on the Magnuson-Moss
Warranty Act of 1975 .

This is the Act that is overseen by the Federal Trade Commision which says
that if you have aftermarket parts (i.e.-headers) on a vehicle that the
dealer cannot deny warranty coverage unless they PROVE that the aftermarket
part caused a failure in another part . If they can prove that the headers
, for example caused the thing to run poorly , then they are off the hook ,
if not , then they are in violation of Federal Law . They must also state
IN WRITING at the time of the denial of warranty repair why they are
denying the work .

For more info , see http://www.ftc.gov/

I can't wait to shove it in some stupid service writer's face when he tells
me that an FABM or headers has voided my vehicle's powertrain warranty !
