Easily guarantee that my 97 rc (318, 3.21 rear, 3800#) could do 135 if it
wasn't for the speed limiter. Pulls VERY nicely to the 115 cutoff. I love
Dodge!

        Check your throttle body plate for carbon build up.
        This may be the culprit.

        My '70 Duster 340 (stock) did 135 mph. Hard to imagine
        that the R/T could do that because of the aerodynamics
        and the added weight (about 600 lbs).
