I called K&N about this a week or so ago..same story I
got....WOW..$350....that is allot for a FIPK isn't it? I saw the Air-Raid
from Evergreen(I think) that was only about $160. What is the other system
(Quick D) Like, how much $$$$ and is it EPA approved?

Subject: DML: K&N Filtercharger due near Thanksgiving

I just called K&N Filter to see what the status will be on the Dakota
Filtercharger setups, and they told me it is scheduled to be release
sometime in the middle of November, possible near Thanksgiving. It will
look like the Grand Cherokee setups and like the Air Raid, in that their
will be a pip leading off to a cone shaped filter with a heat shield around
it to protect it from the fan and all. The suggested price for setups like
this is $350, but can get it for a lot less through K&N dealers.

Now, isn't it wierd that it took just under two years to make it, when
others like Quick D, Air Raid, and others that have had their version of
what K&N will make a long time ago.

Oh well, just thought I would let you know of the status of it for people
that are holding out. When it does come out and looks just like the Quick D
and is more, I will probably go with the Quick D to save money, but then
again, K&N might have something special with it.
