Those are the numbers that I obtained from a this guy that was the Public
Relations Manager for Dodge Truck in MI .
I was very skeptical of the total numbers that he gave me for the 98 model
year in that it only showed about 1400 total production .
He tried to say that Chrysler kept the rest (about 600 of the touted 2000
total) for crash testing , media testing , commercials , etc.
I am still skeptical of those numbers and I wanted a more solid
verification from them , preferably on paper .
He eventually blew me off and didn't respond to me any more .
I therefor take those numbers with a grain of salt .
If you do believe them though , you would see that the Intense Blue Regular
Cab is indeed the rarest of the breed and not the Deep Amethyst .
