Just got my '98 back from the Dealer. The MIL was setoff by that stupid
little hose running into the evap. canister... Everything's cool now!
The TSB on the steering did the job too! The parts used were:
P/N: 55351171-AB -- Coupling 19 15 4
P/N: 6504926-AA -- Screw Hex 19 14 5
P/N: 6101510 -- Nut Flang 19 15 5
All this boils down to is a new shaft that connects the steering wheel to
the rack. Big improvement though, nothing rattles in the
steering/front-end anymore!!
Picked up the skid plates too while is was there... SCHWING!! I love this
one stop shopping stuff :-)
